Team News: Evolution Karting Evolution Karting Becomes Rotax Dealer Indianapolis , IN ; Evolution Karting has agreed become an Official Rotax Dealer and Service Center , according Kurt Mathewson Evolution Karting owner. Mathewson and partner Garrick Miller made the agreement with SSC East at the Rotax National Finals last week. "We've been looking for a platform to get behind that is a cost effective way for karters of all ages to compete with and that has a consistent rules package nationwide.", according to Mathewson. "When parents understand that their son/daughter can race the same engine from age 7 to 17 (or 47!) using just one base motor, has the same rules nationwide, and has a parts warranty, we think that they will agree the Rotax program is great." said Mathewson. Evolution will carry the full line of Micro and Mini Max motors, as well as junior/senior Rotax engine packages, and the complete CRG DD2 chassis engine packages. The Evolution Karting race team will support the program by entering team karts in several Rotax categories as well as providing rental and Arrive and Drive programs, beginning at the 2009 Florida Winter Tour as well as other National and Regional Series running Official RMax programs.
